Getting Started

Every so often, an opportunity arises. One that captures your attention and draws you in. For us, the Localhost Research team, we have been lucky enough to find one of those opportunities.

Today we are honored to announce the launch of our new organization. If you’re with us at TABConf 2024 in the BitDevs Socratic Village, a special thank you for joining us in this special moment.

Localhost Research is made possible by a number of individuals. We stand on the shoulders of our founding donors, Mark Casey and Wences Casares. Without their generosity, this project would not be possible.

Our founding team is additionally graced by the expertise of two giants: Mark Erhardt and Ava Chow. These two individuals have, each in their own way, made significant impacts on our community in the areas of research, code, and education. They are our anchors and will play a central role in shaping the future of our organization.

Behind the scenes, Justin and Patricia have worked to stand up this organization with the guidance of board members Matt Corallo and Denise Terry.

We remain grateful to all of those who have made this journey possible. If you’d like to get a sense of what we’ll be working on, please read Focus and review our Mission Statement.
